• please help – i uploaded and activated the “in touch” plugin from https://adahas.com/work/intouch/, and my entire website immediately broke. i cannot access the plugin tab, i cannot access the whole administrative panel, and what’s worse – i cannot access my site!
this – https://firstpersondocumentary.org/ – is all i see no matter what i try to access.

is there a way to remove a plugin without deactivating it through the plugins interface???

Yes. Delete the plugin file from your site. Voila, instant removal.

Not the best way to “deactivate” a plugin, but it works.

Have you tried deleting the plugin via your FTP manager?

For safety’s sake, it might be better to just rename the relevant folder/ file.

    good luck.

ok, i just deleted the plugin folder from the plugins directory, and my website is back, seemingly none the worse for wear. that was scary for a second. does anyone know if there are ill consequences to just deleting a plugin without deactivating it?

There are no ill consequences as such. If you put the plugin back it may still be activated when you do.
