Plugin Broken?

    After installation I got these errors in my media library for each image: 

    Warning: Illegal string offset 'bytes_compressed' in /XXXXX/XXXXX/public_html/wp-content/plugins/zara-4/zara-4.php on line 500

Warning: Illegal string offset 'percentage_saving' in /XXXXX/XXXXX/public_html/wp-content/plugins/zara-4/zara-4.php on line 501

    Then I got an email from Cron Daemon:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /XXXXX/XXXXX/public_html/wp-content/plugins/zara-4/zara-4.php on line 665

    Note that I sanitized my full path with “XXXXX”.

    Other than the errors, the plugin seems to run and compress images OK. Deactivating it for now.

    Thanks for your feedback.

    From the details you’ve given, this appears to be a compatibility issue with PHP ~5.3. We’ve just released a new version v1.0.3 which hopefully addresses the issues you’ve highlighted.

    Could I ask you to try the new version to see if this resolves the problem?

    Sorry for the late reply. This solved the issue, thank you!

    The plug-in times out (the indicator in the image gallery continues to spin, as if it’s compressing). I suspect this is due to me using all my credits for the month, but an indicator / message would be helpful.
