[Plugin: Broken Link Checker] Disallowed on WPEngine hosting

This plugin (which I love) is banned on WP Engine hosting as it uses too many server resources and, apparently, has been known to bring down the database with its queries. Could this be looked at please, as I’d love to use the plugin on my WPEngine sites.
