[Plugin: Broken Link Checker] Fresh install: "table doesn't exist"

  • I have just installed the plugin for the first time and am getting the error: 

    Error: The plugin's database tables are not up to date! (Current version : 0, expected : 5)
Try deactivating and then reactivating the plugin.Database error : Table 'mydbname.wp_blc_links' doesn't exist

    I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin but I get the same message. Any ideas what might cause this?

    I’ve checked the database and the messageis correct, the tables aren’t being created.

    I’m not sure what caused this but if I created the database tables manually and then installed the plugin it seems to work fine.

    Is the plugin working now that you created the tables manually? It gives me a server crash when installing the plugin, but I am pretty sure I used the plugin before and I had the previously created tables.

    This should be fixed in the latest version. If not, try contacting me directory, I’ll see if I can figure it out.
