[Plugin: BuddyPress Activity Plus] Resize Original Image

I’m loving the plugin so far, but there is one thing I haven’t been able to overcome. Say a user uploads a 3000×2000 sized image. The original image stays the same size as that which can eventually use up a lot of server space. For my normal image uploads for posts and pages I use the plugin Imsanity which automatically resizes the original image to a smaller size, however when uploading an image through Activity Plus it doesn’t process the resize. I’ve searched the web for a couple hours looking for a work around but am unable to find one.

Anyone have any suggestions?
