Well as soon as I activate the plugin it slows down my page so I can not do anything and have to delete the plugin from my server.

Mind if I get access to your server?

Hi, Your plugin is so much nice but i have problem with Shoutbox … i have selected in my admin panel

    Disable Shoutbox Completely : No
Open Shoutbox On login : Yes

What on Shoutbox appear no login

    please Help
    My blog is https://www.neelkapoor.co.cc

Sorry 4 last lines , but on login no Shoutbox appear

Bring up firefox. Log in. Look at error console for javascript error causing shoutbox not to display. It is most likely a javascrip bug in your theme or another plugin.

    I’m using firefox from when i started using internet and secondly no error occuring simply no soutbox there on login;
I’ll do what wll you say ; but i need soutbox in any condition

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

I found this thread by searching google for an error message:
Notiice: Only variable references should be returned by reference in XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/buddypress-ajax-chat/bp-chat/chat/lib/class/CustomAJAXChat.php on line 182

The error message show up on top of the ajax chat in new window.

I’m using the latest wp, bp and bp ajax chat.

Do you have any idea what’s causing this?

    Thanks,
    Ivan

Pardon, the line 193 gives an error!

Notice: Only variable references should be returned by reference in XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/buddypress-ajax-chat/bp-chat/chat/lib/class/CustomAJAXChat.php on line 193

php 5 is strict on references, but it’s just a notice, nothing more so ignore for now as chat works on older versions of php for compatibility.
