    Hello,

i’ve just found this topic because i’ve got the same problem.
i installed the plugin via my wpmu dashboard (already running buddypress).
    everything is up-to-date.
all the files have been set with chmod 777.
it gives the “There were problems saving picture details.” error on the site.
then i found this topic, downloaded the new files and replaced the files on my server with the new files.
still no change… it stille gives me the “There were problems saving picture details.” error.

problem solved, i just realized that the WP installer somehow forgot the unpack the bp-album-core file.
for anyone having this problem, check if the file bp-album-core in the “includes” map, is bigger then 0 kb.
it should be around 22 kb.
without it you’ll just keep on getting errors.

Delete the plugin folder and copy this version in its place.

I am getting a little different response.
    Version 1.6
I am running 2 wp installs: 1 on localhost (my computer)
    1 production setting @ https://carvingsforyou.com/wp/
On localhost, NO PROBLEM great album!

On production it installed with no indicated errors BUT,
when I go to the buddypress menu/album/upload pictures all it does is take me back to the home page. If I watch the status bar I see something about Viemo flash up before the “done” message.
I do not get any error message.
I checked permissions on my server database, set to All permissions.
I read all the previous post in this thread and deleted the bp-album folder and ftp’d the new folder in it’s place.
    Nothing seems to help.
    Any Ideas, anyone?
If you would like to try it, go https://carvingsforyou.com/wp/
go ahead and register to create a user then login.
    BTW User defaults to subscriber.
ALSO I just discovered: localhost has a folder bp-events
I dont find anysuch folder on the production machine. Is this created on first use?

    Ed
