[Plugin: BuddyPress Announce Group] Ineffective on current versions.

I’d love to use this, but it doesn’t actually prevent users from posting. Maybe it would be easy to fix. If any user goes to the “Activity” tab and selects a group, they can post to it. Even if the group is set as an Announce only group. Anybody able to fix this for me?
