[Plugin: BuddyPress Announce Group] The plugin does not have a valid header.

I tried installing this on WordPress 2.9.2 with Buddypress 1.2.2.1 and i got the error “The plugin does not have a valid header.” when trying to Activate it.
I did make the change the to the file as per the instructions.
