[Plugin: BuddyPress Gifts Rebirth] Issues operating

  • I have loaded the plug in and all seems to be fine; However, when I go to send a user a gift we get an error

    “Either admin hasn’t received any gift yet or they have restricted access”

    We are dragging the image into the text box and clicking the send gift button. The feature had been enabled in the notifications field and still nothing. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  • I had the same problem using Cubepoints. I went to Cubepoints then Buddypress. In the Spam Controls I had that a person needed 50 points to do updates and replies. Once the user reached the limit they were able to send and recieve gifts.

    I see the original poster wrote this 8 months ago. Has there been any development on this by now?

    This plugin has not been updated for MONTHS.

    Just to let you all know I have now taken this plugin and fixed a few problems with it.

    I’ve renamed it and its going be called ‘BuddyPress Gifts for Members’.

    I have also added a ‘send count’ as well so you can see which gifts are being sent the most.

    I am also creating a Pro version of this App that will work with the Buddypress Achievements plugin so your users can spend points on gifts to send to other members. Whats the use of points if you have nothing to spend them on. lol

    I’m going to create a bigger thread about this by itself.

    I might include a version for Cubepoints at a later date.
