    No problem, haven’t had to much experience with custom post types yet. It seems like a viable alternative, but we would probably have to write the plugin from scratch.

    Downsides I can think of are user rights for specefic post types, shared categories, no theme options per blog and the chance of having 100’s of post types for larger networks.

    So thinking more about it…I think custom post types are awesome, but not quite a blog replacement ??
