    Installed BP GroupBlog 1.6
    Buddypress 1.5
    WP 3.2.1

Created a new group in hopes of testing the groupblog feature. No blog area was found (probably because i need to call it in my theme), however, there was no settings panel in wp-admin.

Is there a direct URL to reach the BP Groupblog settings panel? Where should this be displaying? Maybe I’m missing something.

    Thanks in advance!

OK, I now find the reason why!

Group Blog works only with wordpress multi site (obiviously because each group blog is a site)

I first activated network admin & multisite and voila, I now can see the Group Blog in the Admin tab of groups.

Of course! The plugin works, if there is a multisite!
    Tnx!

For those of you wondering how to do this:

    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Create_A_Network#Step_3:_Allow_Multisite

All the steps you need are right there.

    I have done the following:
    -Installed BP GroupBlog 1.6 (https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/bp-groupblog/)
-Moved it’s theme files to wp/content/themes
    -Turned on multisite

The plugin still will not show up anywhere, not even the settings.

I am running WordPress WordPress 3.2.1.
    Buddypress: 1.5.1
    Any tips?
    Thanks in advance!

Bummer! I don’t want the administrative hassles of multi-site, and I also want close integration among the blogs used in the groups. (E.g., posts in all the group blogs should be picked up by any “recent activity” widget on the website home page.)

I guess what I really want is a plugin that creates a blog in each group that is “locked into” a category associated with that group — all posts are automatically put in that group’s category, and everything in that category shows up in the group blog.
