[Plugin: BuddyPress] I cant see my wp admin after upgrading

  • After upgrading my buddypress to 1.2.8 and wp to 3.1, i cant access to my admin dashboard, only show me a blank page.

    I enter to my admin via url mypage/wp-admin and the link always change to wp-admin/upgrade.php?_wp_http_referer=%2Fwp-admin%2F

    Really need help =(

  • Via FTP or cPanel:
    – Deactivate all plugins by renaming wp-content/plugins folder to wp-content/plugins-x e.g.
    – Deactivate custom theme by renaming wp-content/themes/yourtheme folder to e.g. wp-content/yourthemeonhold
    – Go to your wp-admin

    @n3k0 glad it worked out for you. In any upgrade, especially major ones, there could be plugin or custom theme conflicts. I’ve always taken the path of less stress even if it takes extra time – deactivate plugins and custom themes on upgrade ??
