[Plugin: BuddyPress Multilingual] Translation of Groups, etc

    Does it translate profiles, groups, group directories and member directories as well?
    On the link it only mentions
    – activity streams
    – bp elements
    I assume activity stream translations are automatic, using an API from Google or Bing.
    But I am more interested in WPML-style manual translation of profiles in particular, through also of group pages (including things like group names)

    Just to clarify, I am not asking if it translates profiles, groups, etc, automatically but rather whether like WPML it allows manual translation of these things…

  • Hi OC2PS,

    At this time, you can have only translations of Activity streams (BPML uses Google Translation) and BP elements (pages: Members, Activity, etc). It doesn’t handle translation of group name, group pages as well

    WPML allows the (manual) translation of posts. In BPML it would be nice to have the ability to enable (manual) translation of fields like group names, profile fields, etc
