Plugin: Buddypress NOT WORKING

@wired68 after activating BuddyPress, you need to configure the settings.
If BP is installed in a single WP installation – https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/configure-components/
If BP is activated networkwide (multisite) –

@mercime, I have followed the instructions, created all the pages etc that Buddypress needs, Activity, Activate, Members, Groups and Registration. However still no joy. None of the selections in the menues work. It’s as if something is completely missing.

I have deactivated and reactivated Buddypress, uninstalled it completely and reinstalled it. But each time I do this I notice all of my pervious settings would be back. It’s not a fresh install. Is there a cache that needs cleared before reactivation?

@wired68 I see now where your problem is. BuddyPress requires “pretty permalinks” and not those almost pretty permalinks where you add index.php after your domain name.
