[Plugin: BuddyPress Template Pack] Greater Explanation Request

Hello All,

I have read and read and read hundreds of forum posts from here to buddypress.org and back again asking for help on alignment with HTML of existing themes.

Stage three if you prefer.

The most helpful people (Sarcasm should be obvious) state that you should have an understanding of HTML! No really?????

Well there seems to be no better walk through obviously I have read the one that accompanies this plugin, and https://codex.buddypress.org/theme-development/bp-template-pack-walkthrough-level-easy-2/

which seems just the same.

None of these are muchy help as far as I am concerned and am asking for someone,

Not to give an explanation of all possibilities that would be I am sure impossible, but at least a greater in depth walk through, with examples of code, before and after maybe.

eg, my theme uses page default, portfolio, and full page, also an index.php for the index. as far as im aware i changed code from activity/index.php to the div tags from my default page.php but nothing happens, nothing at all not even errors? so annoying!

The worst thing is and I am sure many of the people I have read on would agree that whilst we not be the worlds expert coders we are capable of working through the issues here given the right info and examples, and it probably is something really simple we are doing wrong, its only a few lines of HTML were swapping round ?

I know there is someone out there who can help and I know from all I have read that there would be many grateful people!
