I’m looking at using this on my wordpress multisite install, but wanted to find out if I needed to network activate this and manage it on each site or if I could just activate it on the primary and have all sites benefit.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I activated this sitewide and seemed to work.
Could ask on author homepage doh.

    Kind regards,

Htaccess in general works in a per domain per directory kind of way so logically I would assume that installing BPS as a sitewide installation as opposed to a per blog basis might cause problems or not work at all. So far everyone I have assisted that has had a multisite setup has reported that BPS is working successfully, but I have not gotten much feedback past “yeah it’s working now” so I have not gotten 100% confirmation on what exactly did the trick. Now with all that said, it is possible to code a single htacess file to manage several different domains so if that need ever came to be then there is already a known solution. At some point I will be setting up a multisite for testing, but at this point I can’t do any hands on multisite testing and experimenting. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. This hit the backburner temporarily but I’ll play with it tonight!

    Thanks!
