[Plugin: Business Directory] Search feature malfunction

  • Business Directory ‘s search feature returns with “No Results” found regardless of content. Also backend admin does not accept new directory listing or category (I can bypass this by insert into database directly. Anyone have same issues? Suggestions to troubleshoot? My version of WP is clean and have installed the plugin multiple times.

  • I have just started using BD. Not completely problematic. Though I have not investigated or tested extensively.
    I created an additional category. So I have 2.
    Then I created some listings in both categories, and approve them.

    Search by categories seems NOT to be working properly, but term search works fine.

    Can you comment on its performance ?

    The search feature is working poor. You can only search a word OR a category. If you search two or more words business-directory will only find results with exactly these words following each other.

    The search doesn’t work even on their demo site producing browser error. I would be ashamed to show this thing to the public.
