Hi, i’ve tested the activation with the same php version and i can activate the plugin.
Ensure that you really have php 5.6.18-1~dotdeb+7.1.

I’m getting the same error, but my php is currently 4.3.0. How do I downgrade to an earlier version until my web host offers a higher php update?
