Plugin Capabilities – Editable With ‘manage_options’ Access Only

    Hi there!

    WP users with a lower permission (subscriber, contributor) can′t edit the QR-Code posts or don′t see the the QR-Code edit options on the right.

    I found out that when I give the user role the permission ‘manage_options’ then all settings are visable, but I don′t prefer this way.

    Is there a chance to reduce the permission right from ‘manage_options’ to ‘edit_posts’ ?

    Hey @alexanderkoch096,

    thanks for reaching out.

    We are not allowed to lower the capabilities because of security concerns (that’s why we had to raise them in the first place, as otherwise, this plugin would have been delisted from w.org).

    I can, however, add a filter for that into the next update to offer at least some way to adjust that.

    Would really appreciate a filter for this as well. I would like to give Shop Manager role creation and editing capabilities. Thank you for this plugin!
