[Plugin: Cart66 Lite] Manual checkout – no emails received

I’ve set up the shopping cart with PayPal and it all works well.
However when I try to use the manual checkout no emails are sent to the administrator.
Is this the expected result?
If yes, is there any way to achieve this?
If no, any idea what I’m doing wrong?
