[Plugin: Category and Page Icons] Fatal Error, possibly PHP related?

    Hi, I’ve been getting this error message when trying to invoke the “assign to categories” menu:

    Fatal error: Non-static method wpdev_compose::get_tree_node() cannot be called statically in (sitename)/wp-content/plugins/category-page-icons/menu-compouser.php on line 1611

    I’m stuck now, it will let me upload images but won’t actually let me assign them to either pages or categories. Any ideas? According to some Googling this error appears to have something to do with running the newer version of PHP (I run 5.0.4, no idea if that qualifies) but nothing really suggested a user-implementable answer that I could apply here. I’m hardly a coder.
