Plugin causes Critical Error
-
Hello, at this precise moment I can’t give you any further details, we are still investigating, but a small WordPress Blog that we’ve put together has hit a “Critical Error” white page. We did not receive a “recovery mode” automated email to the Admin address, but that might be due to your plugin being in error.
I’m fully aware that the version of WP it’s running on isn’t fully up-to-date and quite possibly the version of the plugin isn’t either. Like I said, we are investigating.
WP itself is on V 6.2.6 and once we were able to FTP into the back-end we could see an error log stating:
[Wed Jan 15 14:13:37.569914 2025] [php7:emerg] [pid 3196] [client ******] PHP Parse error:? syntax error, unexpected ')' in /var/www/*****/public/******/wp-content/plugins/post-smtp/Postman/Dashboard/includes/rest-api/v1/class-psd-rest-api.php on line 60
(certain content redacted) – I appreciate that it’s very little to go on, and the first course of action would be to get WP itself and the plugin up-to-date, but besides that, might the error log above make anyone go “Oh! that’ll be blah-blah”?
Thanks!
