Hello, I’m using the MagPlus Theme on my WP page. The site has stopped working today just after updating your plugin. The error message “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘?’ in /data/web/virtuals/187199/virtual/www/domains/honzovorybareni.cz/wp-content/plugins/redux-framework/class-redux-framework-plugin.php on line 76”

Neither the website nor the WP admin were accessible while having this issue. I deactivated the plugin via FTP which helped. Then I accessed the WP admin and tried to activate you plugin again. WP didn’t allow to do that at all with the message: The plugin could not be activated because it caused a fatal error.

WP version I have is 4.9.4.
Until today’s update the plugin has worked fine.

Could you please help me with this issue? Any ideas?

    Thanks a lot

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

You are running an unsupported version of PHP on your server. Please upgrade to PHP 7.4, minimum.

I have a similar redux-framework fatal error issue with php 8.0.20 on MagPlus v6.2 (which includes Magplus add-ons v1.8 & Magplus AMP v1.4, the Redux framework..), on WordPress 6.0.1, after doing updates on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS and noticing the recent auto updates to WP 6 & Magplus v6.2 + plugins. The only time I see an issue with site up and running fine, is when I go to the post editor.. and get a basic empty page with some font selection boxes and a line at the end saying : “there has been a critical error on this website”.

From WordPress DEBUG_LOG see detailed message below, but summary :

Fatal Error appears in redux-extensions field_repeater.php line 388, but stack trace shows calls originate throughout class-redux-enqueue.php (lines 471, 506, 105), then redux-core/framework.php line 662, then redux-extensions/…../extension_metaboxes.php line 490, ..etc

Detailed Error msg (not including full stack trace, summary above) :

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: count(): Argument #1 ($value) must be of type Countable|array, string given in /var/www/html/wordpress/wp-content/themes/magplus/framework/admin/redux-extensions/extensions/repeater/repeater/field_repeater.php:388

Let me know if there is a simple edit of these code line(s) to fix ?, .. assuming php v8.1 is probably worse than v8.0, and v7.4 is getting OLD fast.
