Plugin causes http error when uploading to WordPress media library

With WordPress 5.1.1 and PHP 7.3 I have the following problem. As soon as BackUpWordPress is activated, I get an HTTP error after uploading images to the media library. The images are present in the media library despite the error message, but no thumbnails are generated. As soon as BackUpWordPress is deactivated, everything works.
