Plugin causes redirect

The plugin sends request to https://www.google.com/cse/cse.js?cx=xxxxx. A Status Code of 302 is returned and a redirect to https://cse.google.com/cse/cse.js?cx=xxxxx is made.
The plugin sends the request to https://www.google.com/cse/cse.js?cx=xxxxx on every WordPress post or page. Can this be changed so that the request is only sent on the page that contains the [wp_google_search] shortcode?
