I thought I might contact you to see if you had any thoughts or suggestions in regards to MapPress conflicting with the new NextGen Gallery 2.0. I installed NextGen Gallery 2.0 and some of the features are not working in that plugin as a result of the MapPress plugin being installed as well. I narrowed down the issues in NextGen Gallery 2.0 to MapPress by deactivating all plugins one by one. Once I deactivated MapPress, the NextGen Gallery 2.0 plugin became fully functional.

Do you have any ideas that may explain for the conflict? The authors of NextGen Gallery do not know what is causing this conflict at this point in time.

    Thanks for your time!

Thank you Chris for contacting me via email and resolving the issue. I really appreciate it!

    I have the same Problem!

    Hello everybody

    I have a similar problem:
NextGen and MapPress is installed – NextGen is working fine, but there appears no map from MapPress on the site. I can make a map and get an id for it, but on the site only a boarder without content (map) in it appears.

    WP 3.6
    Theme: Responsive 1.9.3.5
    NextGen: 2.0.7
    MapPress. 2.40.3

Thank you for your help! Maybe it’s the same problem as jcleland had, Chris? Thanks.

    Hello everybody,

I also have the problem reported by chruezoo. I am using the twentyten theme, but also tried the new twentythirteen theme.

I am using MapPress on pages (not posts). Deactivating NextGen will allow the maps to display.

The only other plugins I am using are Akismet v2.5.9 and WordPress Importer v0.6.1. WordPress, Themes and Plugins are all up to date.

    Thanks

    Hello Everybody ,

Is this post as been resolved ?? I dont see any solution …

    Best regards ..

    thanks

    Stef

The version 2.40.4 of MapPress Easy Google Maps resolves the NextGEN Gallery conflict resulting to non-working “Attach to Post” NGG button at pages/post editor in WP, but there are still some problems:
    1. at one production site which I maintain and use both MapPress and NGG the user side only displayed the map box on a page, but no map content (checked only on IE10 and reverted NGG back to 1.9.13).
    2. one feature not working as of today when the map displays correctly is “DIRECTIONS TO” feature for map pins.
Have a look at my NextGEN testsite how this works at:

I have just installed the update of MapPress Easy Google Maps v2.40.5 and I have my maps back. Thank you.

Yes, didn’t see the solution to this.

the post has been resolved .
you lust to uodate the mappress plugin to 2.40.3 to 2.40.5

Best regards and thanks a lot to the developper.

with nextgen gallery there are again problems with the plugins.
Existing Cards will be shown – but it is impossible to edit or create a new one. Deleting works.
NextGen deaktivated . MapPress works again and you can create and edit cards.
Not so good but this will work till next updates

Let’s make sure we have it accurate, it’s nextgen that causes problems with everything … ??
