• Hi,

I just got an email from SiteGround saying that my CPU Quota has gone over by 80% and they’ll shut my site for the month if I reach 100% overboard.

When I contact them, the jump happened once I updated the LP4.

They said that plugins cause these issues. They wrote:

“Majority of the times when we see the problems in an admin-ajax.php file is due to the requests made by installed plugins. These plugins make WordPress backend slow by sending requests to attain a certain functionality such as firing up a pop-up or updating a social sharing counter. These plugins make tons of these requests to stay functional.”

Is this a problem you can fix with your coding? I don’t want my site shut and I need my courses up.

    Thank you.

Please look at this picture to see how high my CPU jumped since the update was made on May 8th.

I only have 10,000 as ability to use and it jumped to 300,000 since plugin update. I don’t use many plug-ins so I know it’s the LP4.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

SiteGround sent this message and I attached the picture for you here:

I have checked this for you and it appears that the issue may be related to the slow database queries originating from your website’s database. As per my checks, there is one that is very large and its purpose appears to have been to remove entries from the wp_options table and more specifically _wp_session entries.

Here is a small snippet of the query:

I don’t understand if it’s the plugin or not doing these things.

Please help. I will reach 100% going over soon.

    Thanks.

Thanks. My CPU went down to its normal capacity after you posted this. I will look out for the update. I really want to keep this plugin and it’s great that it’s free. I hope it all works out.
