  • Hi @dinhcode

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that after updating your WordPress to version 6.4, you are unable to access the back-end or wp-admin of your site, correct?

It seems that there may be a conflict between the new WordPress update and one of your plugins. As a first step, please try to log in following the steps here: How to Find Your WordPress Login?URL

Then, try to switch to the default Storefront theme and only WooCommerce plugin is enabled and see if this works?

If so, then this kind of problem is usually caused by your theme or a third-party plugin present on your site. We can run a conflict test to verify this. I’d recommend cloning your site to a staging environment and performing the tests described on this guide without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking in with them. It’s also possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin.

If this was caused by a third-party plugin present on your site, it would be best to reach out to the developers for further assistance here.

If this did not resolve the issue, please share your System Status Report, that will help us further troubleshoot.

You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.

Or, if you’d like someone else to do this work for you, our trusted partner, Codeable, has an offering where they will run this test for $150 USD. If there is time left, they will also fix the problems they found.

Let us know how it goes!

    Hi @dinhcode

I’m glad you were able to find a solution to your inquiry here and thanks for sharing it with the community too! ??

Rest assured, I attempted to reproduce the issue on my end using WordPress 6.4, but everything worked well. One of your plugins or themes is most likely incompatible with the most recent version of WordPress. I recommend that you conduct a conflict test on a staging site.

I will be marking this thread as resolved. Should you have further inquiries, kindly create a new topic here.

    Thanks!

@shameemreza, the issue is related to the stripe plugin, I’ve got the same issue on 6.4 and after disabling the stripe plugin I’m able to access admin dashboard.

    Hi @dgalic

We saw a number of reports with the same issue, and our team is already looking into it: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/issues/2751

At the time being, we can’t give you an estimate for when the team will look into or fix the issue, as bug reports are prioritized based on a few criteria. If you’d like to receive updates, please subscribe to the comments or Github’s issue.

As a workaround, you can revert WordPress to an earlier version. You can achieve this by using the WP Rollback or Rollback Auto Update plugins.

I hope this provides some clarity on the matter. If you have any other questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to ask.

    Hi @dinhcode, @dgalic,

I would just like to provide an update on this ??

WP 6.4.1 is now available and seems to resolve the issue for most users who have reported a similar issue.

Can you please try updating to WP 6.4.1 and see if this resolves the issue on your end?

We always recommend ensuring that you have a good backup of your full site and database before performing any updates or making any changes to your live site, so that, should something go wrong, you are able to easily restore your site to a functioning state.

Let us know how this goes!

    Hi @beautyofcode,

I can confirm that the issue is not present on WP 6.4.1

    Thanks.
