    Hi,

I logged in to my WordPress admin to write a post, I noticed your plugin had an update pending, so I went ahead and updated and everything was fine. I wrote my post and added some images and published it, when I go to view the post, there is just a blank white screen.

The rest of my website appears to be functioning as normal and other posts are displaying OK as well as images.

First thing I thought of was to deactivate Webp converter for media butthe single post was still a blank white screen. On reactivating the plugin I am getting this message:

The plugin generated 177 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.

I have set WP DEBUG to true in config but I can;t get any error to show, deactivating and re-activating the plugin did cause a 500 error but at this time I can view my site but the single post remains a white screen.

Yesterday there was a file flagged by wordfence, it was called CHtick or something, it was in the wp-content directory and had no extension. I deleted it in wordfence, perhaps this is part of your plugin and deleting caused this error~?

I’ve put my site in to maintenance mode for now to I check error logs.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,

I set WP debug log to true and an error relating to this plugin shows up:

PHP Warning: mkdir(): File exists in …/wp-content/plugins/webp-converter-for-media/app/Admin/Activation.php on line 35

I don’t know at this time if the webp converter plugin is causing the problem or if it something else, I have been unable to find any other errors.

Hi, I don’t think the issue is the webp converter plugin. I deactivated all plugins and the affected page loaded as normal, I then reactivated plugins one by one and refreshed the page to make sure it loaded normally, the WordPress popular posts plugin when activated caused the white screen on the single post.

I believe it is an issue with the popular posts widget but is affecting only this post. Very strange, I will post on that plugins support forum.

    Thanks.
