• I just upgraded cForms to v10.5.2 and now I get an error when I try to losd my clients’ site:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /homepages/37/d172038320/htdocs/actingbox/wp-content/plugins/cforms/lib_email.php on line 3

Any idea why and what the fix is?

  • Did you ever find a fix for this? I am getting the same error?

I’d love a fix for this too, as I can’t use this plugin thanks to the error …

    Thanks

    I fixed this for mine!

Download this file and extract it to cforms plugin folder. it contains lib_email.php :

SNo, just a reminder on GPL based code: changing GPL’ed code requires proper documentation in the code (see Gnu Public License guidelines).

‘Thought I’d mention it so you don’t run into any legal issues redistribution modified code under GPL.

More to the point, SNo’s link is to a spam site, not a fixed file. Can a mod delete the links?
