This plugin seems to have changed an amount of off-page information in my shop page. The page now has a meta title of BeRocketSelectorsTest10 and this is not rectified by removing the plugin from the installation.

After googling BeRocketSelectorsTest10, which has affected my SE rankings as a result, it seems there’s a few other sites who are probably experiencing this also!

    Please rectify!

    Hello,

Thank you for your message. We didn’t know about such issue. We will check and fix it asap.

Can you please provide url with the issue on your site?

I did check the other sites you told about. It cannot really affect SE rankings as it is only 1 product and 1 category. All other pages have common title and meta.

If you have meta changed on all pages there should be some other issue on your site and I need to check what it could be.

After running a Installation Wizard did you wait till the end? All products should be removed at the end.

Can you please clarify with running an installation Wizard? The installation wizard failed on auto-identifying selectors so I manually created.

And it’s affecting SE rankings because it’s renamed the title on my main shop page, which was previously ranking.

I can also see, when searching on an image search for BeRocketSelectorsTest10 I see several of my images which now are indexed as that string.

    This isn’t great.

Could you please provide your site url please? I need to see the issues to get more information on how it is changing the meta.

Wizard is creating category and several products, doing test to get selectors, saves data it get, removing products and category.

I can see that it’s not just my site that this has affected either. There’s another site which appears to have around 15 of these berocketselectorstest products on their site.

I see only “Error establishing a database connection” while opening your site.

As I told before “Wizard is creating category and several products, doing test to get selectors, saves data it get, removing products and category.”

So if you leave on steps “doing test to get selectors” or “saves data it get” you will miss step “removing products and category” and yes, you will have them listed on your site.

If you will open plugin settings page, tab Selectors you will there:
    How it work:
    Run Auto-selector
Wait until end do not close this page
    Save settings with new selectors

    Steps:
    Creating products
    Gettings selectors
    Removing products

So leaving the page is not really good idea while running such script. To fix it you need to run it again. It will remove products. Or you can remove products yourself. But all it is doing is – adding products. This doesn’t change meta data on the shop page.

Can you please open wp-admin -> Settings -> General and tell me what is your “Site Title” option set to?

How did you add to this product https://www.sorotomixers.co.uk/product/40l-forced-action-mixer/ title text “Pay monthly 0% interest”?

What SEO plugin are you using?
Check please your shop page SEO settings.

SoRoTo Mixers | The Original Forced Action Mixer is the site title.

The installation process fails on my website. That’s pretty unavoidable from my side. I can’t do anything about that can I?! If it fails, I can’t force it to do remove products and category. Every time I run it it fails. If it fails, it can’t remove the products or change back anything it’s changed.

Please look at the source of this page…

    https://www.sorotomixers.co.uk/store/

It’s changed the title of the store page. I don’t see how my SEO plugin can be at fault for your plugin changing the page title of the store page. My SEO plugin doesn’t manage the title of that page.

Have you searched for the string BeRocketSelectorsTest10 and seen how many different sites are experiencing this same symptom?

There are seven pages of sites.

There is very simple way to test it.
    1) Check you shop page title. Is it shop?
    2) Turn off your SEO plugin. And open the shop page. Is it still with wrong name?
    3) Turn off our plugin. And open the shop page. Is it still with wrong name?

I did check and found 0 sites with same symptom. All the links there are to the single product page. And all the shop pages there are working ok.

There are seven pages of sites. – maybe you are right and I’m missing them. Could you provide them please so that I could contact site owners and help to solve it?
