Plugin changes root path to /wp

    Hi I’ve tried to make a backup of my live site (WordPress is installed in the root folder) – to import it and edit it in a localhost environment (Bitnami).

    And so, I restore the backup in the local folder correctly, I make my changes and then I create a new backup to import it into the live site. But when I try to import the new backup on the live site, the WP installation is changed to sitename/wp instead of the root folder.

    Why has this happened and how can I fix it?

    What is the URL of your localsite and what is the URL of your production site?
    Have you used find/replace?
