    Since version 5.0.0, this plugin reduces the width of the desktop screen for the entire website. It basically leaves a noticeable amount of unused space on both the left and right side of the screen.

    Once again, I reverted back to version 4.2.9, which does not have this issue.

    Looking forward to a fix one day. ??

    WP Dark Mode is a GREAT plugin and one of my favourites!

    I am also still rolling back your Plugin to version 4.2.9

    My call to action buttons are Flat and do not have any borders, they had White Borders, it’s the only way I can describe them, before this update they stood out and when you moused over, they changed colour and had along with the borders.

    The colour has changed and they are not prominent, that’s all through the site?

    It may not be as bad as all the others are experiencing and I’m sorry for them as it’s a lot of work, however I don’t want to go through all the buttons, call to actions and changed them all.

    This is a great Plugin, and this must be frustrating for you, but had to let you know.

    I’m testing your Plugin on a Staging Site, so it’s easy for me, hope you get it sorted.

    Thanks for informing us about the issue. We’ve tested the plugin on the latest version of WordPress and updated it to (Plugin Version), using Kadence Themes and various templates. However, we couldn’t recreate the problem you’re facing. Could you try testing it on a fresh site with this theme and let us know the results?

    Ibrahim,

    I tried that, and unfortunately, installing a “fresh” site cannot easily be done.

    When you installed the Virtue Theme, under Main Settings/Site Layout Style, did you select “Boxed” or “Wide Site Layout Style”?

    If you select “Wide Site Layout Style”, you may notice that version 5.0.0 and above, ignores the wide site setting, and contains both the top bar and the footer, and I would imagine any pages or posts that are created using the theme’s full width template.

    This occurs once the plugin is installed and it doesn’t matter whether Light or Dark Mode is selected.
