    Marco,

    I love the Cimy Header Rotator Plug-in. I need to completely uninstall this plug-in and reinstall. I had the rotator was working fine, in the caption area in put a
    in the caption, the rotator stopped working. I uninstalled the image, added a new image. Rotator still did not work. I uninstalled the rotator, deleted the files when prompted, reinstalled the rotator and my old settings were still there. I then uninstalled the rotator again, made sure the rotator was removed from my plugins folder, it was, and reinstalled. My settings again were still there. I went into my SQL DB, and I found a few lines that referred to the cimy rotator. I want to uninstalled all instances of the Cimy Header Rotator and reinstall. How do I do this. This all occurred because I put the
    in the caption area. Maybe there is a better way to resolve this minor issue. When I search for “cimy” I have four references to cimy.

    Thanks,

    Dennis

    If it stopped to work might not be the issue of my plug-in actually, most probably you installed a broken plugin with JavaScript errors in it and stops mine too.

    I can debug only if you give me the url of the website where is installed and enabled.

    Marco, I got it working – had to restore database – I might have been the cause of this error.

    This is the best image rotator out there though. Very easy to use.

    Thanks

    Ok good anyway to uninstall everything you have to remove:
    wp_options -> cimy_hir_options item only

    Hello Marco,

    I’d like to remove /httpdocs/wordpress/wp-content/Cimy_Header-Images but how can I do this ? In Filezilla deleting seems not to work.

    Thanks

    Seems your user doesn’t have enough permission to delete what webserver creates.
