[Plugin: CKEditor For WordPress] CKFinder doesn't function

  • I downloaded and installed CKEditor successfully but there is several problems

    1) Having to switch back and forth between compatibility mode in IE10 Consumer Preview (Windows 8 CP) is a royal pain. On the dashboard of CKEditor I have to go out of compatibility mode but editing files, I have to go back in or I can’t type.

    2) CKFinder folder in this download doesn’t contain all the files it is supposed to – I have a folder with the contents, index.html, config.php and readme.txt. readme.txt says that there should be more files within this folder and because of these missing files, I cannot use the CKFinder plugin

    1. Do you see any JavaScript errors in Firebug or similar tool ?
    Can you check server error logs if there are any errors.

    2. You have to download CKFinder first from this site and upload it to CKFinder directory.
    Please read readme.txt file. Everything is described there.
