    I should say version 2.5.1

I have a similar problem, since upgrading all second and third authors disappeared.

Now only one author is displayed on all posts. Is there any way to fix this??

Note: second authors are removed also from admin..

reactivate the plugin; that’s what the post two down from this says.

well, after installing the plugin it becomes inactive, true.

Once it is activated again, all second and third authors have been wiped away. This is my problem. I can still add authors through admin panel, but all old multiple authors posts have been wiped away.

So.. Am I the only one with this problem? How to solve it?

This upgrade to 2.5.1 is stripping authors and not allowing them to be re-added.

I also no longer see the ability to manage authors in quick edit.

Exactly… Any fix for this?? ??

I downgraded to 2.1 and all was ok

How did you downgrade – Just inactivate and upload the old version?

(The new version hasnt changed the database? )

I deactivated, deleted and then installed the older version as 2.5 also gives me the same problem

As long as you haven’t been in to edit every post, they should still display the multiple authors

Nice. I did the same but I downgraded to the 2.5 version. Works fine!

I have this same problem, but I caused it differently. 2.5.1 was working fine for me, but I migrated my site and after importing the posts had this problem. Downgrading to 2.1.1 worked but why?

What is the difference between the versions and will we be able to upgrade again?

Downgraded to 2.1.1 and everything works fine, even old posts with multiple authors appeared okay. Hope this helps.

Appears the bug is related to usernames (the one that is used for login and can’t be changed in Users panel) containing space, eg “John Doe” fails vs “JohnDoe” works fine – tried with editing usernames via phpMyAdmin and it really seems to be what breaks it…

We shall hope that the author of this fine plugin finds this hint useful and can fix whatever got broken during tons of changes on the way from 2.1.1 to 2.5 ??

@evandavidpaul – perhaps importing changed the usernames? never checked, but new users do get created from post authors and could well have spaces, considering posts were made with real names
