[Plugin: Collapsing Archives] Exclude Category not working

When you exclude the category but a month of posts ONLY contains that category, is it supposed to display that month in links or should it not be listed at all?

For instance: excluding category 2, but all posts in June 2006 were from category 2. Should “June 2006” show in the list?

If yes, is there a way to make it not show up if no valid posts are in that month?
