When I post a comic page it shows up on the site, but to a non-existent page. How do I post it to the correct one? Also I will need to post separate comics to separate pages.

  • I have no idea what you’re asking.

If it’s not the ComicPress theme, did you integrate the code into the theme you’re using?

I’m asking how I post a comic to a specific page on the site. And yes, I am using the ComicPress theme.

Maybe this video might help you.

That didn’t tell me anything. I want to post comics somewhere other than the home page. (My apologies if I wasn’t being clear before.)

They’re images in the media library, in the post editor just add the image from the media library..

alternatively you can use the [showcomic] shortcode that comic easel has..

I know how to upload a comic. I have four different stories that I want to upload. Each story has it’s own specific page on the site. How do I do this?

So .. you want landing pages for each individual comic ya?

Easy enough, you’re using comicpress so go to comic->config->landing pages and set it up there then the url will /chapter/chapter-slug for the landing page for the comic (replace chapter-slug with the appropriate slug of the chapter) then users can bookmark that as the specific comics story, as well as make sure you set navigation to be in-chapter only

Did I not do it right or something? Because it’s still not working.

I have no idea what you did.

I did just what you said. I went to comics->config->landing pages, and enabled them, and I set the navigation to be in-chapter only. The URL for the “landing page” is the same as it was before. When I add a comic the URL is /comic/chapter-slug. Is there something I’m missing?

“set it up there then the url will /chapter/chapter-slug for the landing page for the comic (replace chapter-slug with the appropriate slug of the chapter)”
I would like to know how this process is made, exactly, do I change directly the permalink on the landing page, or how is that made? do I make a new carpet with the chapter name and put the page there or what? This is not exactly clear for people with basic knowledge of wordpress, I′m not a wordpress coder so I don′t know exactly where are the things I have to change. I would greatly appreciate your help on this, because comic easel looks fantastic and I would like to put it to good use, but I haven′t been able to make it work, even using comicpress :(. Thank you in advance!
