Using Health Check & Troubleshooting plug-in v1.2.6 on WP v5.1.1 on PHP v7.2.17.
Under the non-documented* heading “PHP Extensions” I get the following errors:
The optional module, libsodium, is not installer, or has been disabled.
The optional module, imagick, is not installer, or has been disabled.
The required module, mcrypt, is not installer, or has been disabled.
With the last one being marked with a red x

mcrypt isn’t supported under PHP v7.2.

    * The plug-in is documented but the PHP Extensions heading is not, at https://make.www.ads-software.com/support/handbook/appendix/troubleshooting-using-the-health-check/

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Health Check just hasn’t been updated yet. The mcrypt library is not needed in WordPress with PHP 7 and up. WordPress uses the native random_bytes function, and has a backwards compatibility library for older PHP’s.

That library uses mcrypt, so it is needed there, but it is not needed on PHP 7 and up systems.

Thanks, Samuel. I’ll patiently await an update ??
