[Plugin: Conditional Widgets] Not Compatible With All Widgets

  • I love the Conditional Widgets plugin. It’s a sophisticated, intuitive alternative to Widget Logic or Widget Context.

    However… I noticed that the “widget display control” section does not appear for all widgets.

    It does appear for:
    all the built-in widgets
    Subscribe2
    CafePress
    iDump

    It does not appear for:
    AWeber Web Form
    TwiBadge
    TubePress
    Smart YouTube

    Those were the only widgets I tested.

    From reading other forum posts, I get the impression that it might possibly mean other widgets did not follow proper coding standards. Regardless of the cause, other plugins–like Widget Logic and Widget Context–work reliably for ALL widgets. Is it possible that this plugin will be improved in the future so that it can also work for all widgets?
