Plugin conflict ?

  • Hi,

    I use this plugin to show filters, applyed on posts page.

    Most of filters work well in UFW.

    One of them doesn’t work : It uses user position to filter posts with geolocation.

    It doesn’t work because script is not loaded.

    Is there any solution ?

    Hi @chaosad2,

    Thanks for using UFW plugin.

    Please note that, UFW plugin does not have any idea of what script/widget is placed inside. It inserts the script/widget “as is” on the page.

    So if any script/widget is not working then it could be an issue with the script/widget itself. It is simlar to inserting the script/widget manually on the page.

    I would suggest, looking at any JS errors by looking at the browser console.

    Well, no JS error in browser console.

    I tried to add this widget in another position (template sidebar), and it works fine…

    Hi @chaosad2,

    UFW cannot error out a widget added by the user. It has no idea about the widget. It could be the widget does not work as expected when it is “hidden” from view initially or some CSS issue.

    I looked at you site and I couldn’t find the issue. Can you please share the specific page URL with a screenshot?

    Hi,

    Have a look to screenshot :

    1 : custom poistion for widget : it works fine : I can use geolocation or place search.

    2 : It works partially : search and geolocation work, but I can’t see places under field. If widget is and the end of UFW position, field is shown, but it doesn’t work.

    The same widget is used in 1 and 2 positions.
