Plugin Conflict with NextGen Gallery

    Hi, I use your plugins which are great but have discovered a conflict with another plugin which you may be interested to investigate. The other plugin is https://en-gb.www.ads-software.com/plugins/nextgen-gallery/

    Basically, I use the other plugin for displaying images. However, when the gallery plugin is actviated, then when I try to use ANY of the blocks from Gutenberg Blocks – Ultimate Addons for Gutenberg on a page then there is an error when trying to publish the page.

    The error on publishing the page is: “Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.”

    If I deactivate the gallery plugin then the page editing and publishing works fine.

    As a workaround, I deactivate the gallery plugin and do my page editing then publish. Then re activate the gallery plugin.

    There does not appear to be any problems with the gallery plugin functionality when both plugins are activated.

    I am using Astra theme, latest version and can replicate the problem in a development environment.

    Hello @yaseico ,

    It seems that the issue is reproduced when Post layout and NextGen Gallery is used on some page.

    But I’ll add a task for it and check if we can fix that issue from our end.

    In meantime, could you please open a ticket to the NextGen Gallery plugin author and see is there any fix from the author of that plugin?

    Hi, I thought you said that you would raise a task to see if it could be resolved? I am also trying to work with the other plugin team, but that is not resolved yet.
