    Plugin conflicts in AMP.

I use WPBakery Page Builder to design the web layout.
    I installed AMP.
I was recommended Transitional mode by AMP.
I set AMP to Transitional mode.
Sandboxing experiment in Strict mode causes the web layout in the AMP interface to fail.
sandboxing experiment in Moderate mode, the web layout in the AMP interface does not have errors as Google webmaster tools records that the link is not AMP.
This is the situation I encountered.
How should I fix or fix this?
    Please show me.
    Thank.

    Hello @tommyjp19

Thank you for contacting us, The WPbakery page builder is not AMP compatible as it uses custom javascript which is not allowed by AMP framework.

If you want AMP pages only please do not enable sandboxing mode as it will allow invalidations on AMP pages making them fail on google webmaster.

    How do we fix issues?

    1. Check with the third-party plugins author and ask them to make their plugin AMP compatible.
    2. Use an alternative plugin from the AMP ecosystem page.
    3. Check for mini plugin or add-on

    We hope this is helpful!

    Thank you. @milind More
I tried do not enable sandboxing mode.
And wait for google webmaster tools to update.
    Like I really don’t understand.
If I do not enable sandboxing mode, will my AMP page performance decrease?
Why is there a sandboxing function?
What is the real effect of sandboxing?
Which websites or when is it appropriate to enable sandboxing?
Please give me the details, thank you.

Sorry, but I have additional issues with the AMP plugin that I cannot add to my new post.

    Problem 1.

When my website set AMP to Transitional mode and enable sandboxing mode.
Then Google webmaster tool will not recognize that link as an AMP link.
The tool pagespeed measures my web speed and the mobile version fails.
As in GA4 analytics, the majority of visits to my website increased on mobile.
Does generate revenue on the web.

When my website set AMP to Transitional mode and do not enable sandboxing mode.
Google webmaster tool recognizes that link as AMP.
The pagespeed tool measures how fast my mobile version of my website is.
Analytcis GA4’s visits decreased and most of them were desktop PCs.
    lost revenue on the web.

    Problem 2.

    I have 2 websites.
    An English website.
    A Japanese website.
Both install and enable the AMP plugin.
As the only English website has AMP links, Google webmaster noted
Japanese websites set up AMP like English like google webmaster tool does not accept AMP links.
I don’t know where the problem comes from in this issue 2.

    Problem 3.

It seems that when upgrading AMP to version 2.5, it is suggested that the html css code of The WPbakery page builder creates a conflict with AMP.
Do I need to share that code with you?

    Please show me the details.

    Thank you very much.

    Hello @tommyjp19

Thank you for sending your UUID, You are using Theme and plugin that are not AMP compatible which may be causing the conflicts.

    Problem 3:

WPbakery is not AMP compatible, as it uses a lot of custom JavaScript to features, which may not work as expected on AMP pages.

We recommend using the default Gutenberg editor, as it is mostly compatible with AMP.

You also have a theme that is not AMP compatible, so we will recommend using Reader mode with themes such as Astra or Neve.

Problem 1: Can you please goto AMP->Error Index -> use the first filter and make sure you don’t have any “kept” errors?

If yes please mark them as “Removed” or try re-installing the AMP plugin making sure you checked the Delete plugin data in AMP->Other settings panel

Problem 2: As I mentioned in 1 it may be because you “kept” errors, if you mark any error as Kept it makes AMP invalid so it will redirect to non-AMP pages.

    We hope this helps!

Thank you for helping me so much.
    Your instructions are extremely helpful.
In problem 1 I couldn’t find AMP->Error Index -> use the first filter and make sure you don’t have any “kept” errors.
Do I need to enable developer access to see AMP errors?

It’s true that when I select reader mode, AMP has no errors.
    Google webmaster tools records index.
As traffic and revenue from advertising on the web decreased a lot.
It can be said that in Reader mode, with AMP and without AMP are the same.

In Transitional mode, AMP often encounters errors such as good user traffic growth.

I wonder if AMP will upgrade the Reader mode now and in the future to be balanced with Transitional?

Yes, You need to enable developer access

I wonder if AMP will upgrade the Reader mode now and in the future to be balanced with Transitional?

You can choose other themes in Reader Mode, or you can create a custom theme for Reader Mode

The Legacy theme however will not receive any further updates

Sorry, I forgot about this ticket while working.
    I’m so sorry.
Actually, I find AMP’s reader mode extremely buggy, only AMP’s basic reader is stable.
As for the reader modes suggested by WordPress’s interface, they are almost unusable.
I don’t know how to describe it?
If possible, please can AMP provide more optimal basic reader interfaces.
Add function to edit menus, articles and categories.
That’s my opinion when using the amp.
    Can you consider?
