    Can you go into

Dashboard>settings>bbp private groups>plugin information and screenshot the settings.

Then either post here or contact me via my website

    and can you clarify:

‘I am unable to edit or create new forums in bbpress’ – so if you go to dashboard>forums>all forums – at what point does it not work? eg ‘I click this and then that happens’

    Hi Robin,
I sent an email with screenshots to the email address on your website.

    Thanks!
    Amy

I am having the exact same issue. To explain exactly what is happening, if I try and edit ANY forum, after clicking on “edit” and the page opens, the title field is blank, the content area is blank, there are no Private Groups showing at all. (I have about 15 different private groups.)

When I go to create a new forum, exactly the same issue. Title field will not accept text, content area for description will not accept any text and there are no Private groups.

So, now if I have to edit a forum, I have to disable the plugin, make my edit and re-enable the plugin. And obviously, I can’t assign any new forums created now to any private groups.

    Any resolution?

ok, can you revert to the previous version while I sort out the issue.

There were changes in 4 places between versions, so I should be able to work out the issue fairly shortly.

To do that (you will not lose any settings)

Download the previous version from here

    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/bbp-private-groups/developers/

Just click on 3.2.0 and it will download to your pc, and make a note of where it is saved to.

Then deactivate and delete the current plugin from you website

    Then

Dashboard>plugins>add new and click upload plugin, click browse and navigate to where you saved the download.

    Then install and activate.

ok, I’ve found it only happens with certain themes.

I’m working on what the core issue is

ok, I’ve worked it out and corrected in version 3.2.3

Please update and let me know if you have further issues

YEAH!!!! My hero of the day.

Thank you so much for your speedy attention to this issue. This is a great plugin and the support has been unexpectedly timely and awesome.
