• I am currently using Connections Version 0.7.1.6 with the latest WordPress (3.3.1). For some reason, although the entries are still there, they do not show up on the website.

Will upgrading to Connections 0.7.2.5 take care of this issue? If so, will I lose all my current data if I upgrade manually? (That is, delete the current version first and then FTP the new version?)

No, Connections does not ever delete data unless you specifically delete an entry in the admin so manually upgrading should be perfectly safe.

I recommend disabling Connection before you delete the files.

Since you mention that the entries do not show up… There is nothing specific in 07.2.5 to address this. Experience has shown this is nearly always a settings related problem.

Are the entries set to public. They will not show unless that is set per entry. You can use the bulk edit to change this status. Also, on the Connections : Settings page make sure to check the box to allow unregistered visitors or users not logged in to view public entries.
