  • I have the line to change in component.php but not the lines in contactserverice.php those lines are not in my file

badke – I do not have those lines to change either.
    /wp-content/plugins/constant-contact-api/vendor/constantcontact/constantcontact/src/Ctct/Services/ContactService.php
only has 125 lines of code.
In fact, nothing in the …/Ctct/Services/ folder has this line of code in it at all.

    public static function create(array $props)

    any thoughts?

Sorry about that, it’s actually in /wp-content/plugins/constant-contact-api/vendor/constantcontact/constantcontact/src/Ctct/Components/Contacts/Contact.php.

Crud, still getting the same error message after checking and rechecking the change badke suggests.

Fatal error: Call to a member function get_page_permastruct() on a non-object in /home/divencou/public_html/wp-includes/link-template.php on line 358

I’m also getting the same error after following all of these instructions. Help! It looks like others are using the plugin successfully, so I’m not sure what’s going on here. If it helps, the site we’re using it on is using the Modern Portfolio theme by StudioPress.

    sooo any updates?

I need a solution as well. Standing by, thanks!

I need a solution as well, receiving the following error on all pages that I put the Form onto: Fatal error: Call to a member function get_page_permastruct() on a non-object in /home/content/76/10998376/html/wp-includes/link-template.php on line 358

    Same issue here.

    Any updates for this plugin?
    I have people waiting . . . .

I am getting the same fatal error when using the widget as shortcode in a page.

The widget works if you put the same shortcode in a post (as mentioned earlier by other members).

I did not try badke’s fix since my work-around was to change the sign-up link to point to a new post with the sign up widget.

I hope this may help someone while still waiting for an update by the developer.

I am getting the same fatal error when using the widget as shortcode in a page.

Thanks everyone for the tips but they didn’t work. I’m very disappointed that it’s been broken for 2 months and hasn’t been fixed yet ??

Just passing this work around along.
I have a client that uses Constant Contact and I am using Constant Contacts sign-up form.

    You can do the following:
    Create a sign-up form
Connect that form to a mailing list of your choosing
After the form is created the provide you with a link.
Use that link on your site and set it to open a new window.
This way the visitor doesn’t leave your site.

I’m not sure if you’re aware, but Constant Contact’s Auto-responders can only be setup to go out 1 day after receipt of sign-up. I was told, by CC, they were setup to go out immediately, but apparently not. This is if you’re doing Thank You messages or links to downloads.

This is what I had done, for my client, until the developer gets around to fixing this issue.

    Good luck everyone.

    Hi all,

The fix is very simple. Just uncheck “Akismet” from the spam prevention settings.

    The newsletter will work perfectly.
