• I’m wanting to add a form to my wordpress page in cform 7.30.

In the new cform 7.30 it says I need to:

“Log into WordPress and open Contact > Edit”

in order to get the code in this form:
    [contact-form-7 id=”1″ title=”Email”]

Unfortunately I can’t find the Contact-> Edit anywhere in
the new WordPress version 3.2 1… and I have no idea where to get the code to insert into my form.

I’d be grateful for any help.

    thanks,
    Riggie

  • Contact should me in your dashboard / left side / lower position
    Normally below the settings menu
    Reload you page with ctrl+r

Looked through all the menus again… still no sign of Contact-> Edit anywhere in the new WordPress version 3.2 1 in order to find the
    [contact-form-7 id=”1″ title=”Email”] tag.

Isn’t there any other place to find the
    [contact-form-7 id=”1″ title=”Email”] tag
so I can at least create an email form?

    thanks,
    Riggie

Look for Contact at the bottom of your main Admin menu.

    https://www.yoursite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpcf7

Just test t access it directly by this link. Please change the url to your site name and if your backend is not secured just delete “s” from https

If there is still nothing I think you should delete and reinstall the plugin.
If you’re using any caching plugin, you should also empty all caches before you install the plugin again.

OK… I get it. I installed cFormsII and the older Contact 7 plugin, and I see the “Contact” button from the older Contact 7 plugin now.

When I only install Contact Form Ver 7.30, I only see the cFormsII Button and not the “Contact” button anymore. How do I then get
    [contact-form-7 id=”1″ title=”Email”] ?

or do these two plugins only work together?

Sorry for these basic questions, but this is a bit confusing…

OK… I get it. Works now.

You can ignore the above post. Thanks for your help….
