[Plugin: Contact Form 7] can't align contact form to the left or right on page?

For some reason no matter what contact form plugin I use, I can’t seem to get it to align to the left or right hand side of the page so I can add a picture on the opposite side. It just refuses and stays centered even if it looks correctly aligned in the post preview. I don’t see any code suggesting it to be centered in the first place, so how can I fix this?
