  • Hi,
    I can clearly see “what”… this is the first line of your form, and it’s set to send via the old site.

    <form method="post" action="https://www.taxi4hire.com/contact-us#wpcf7-f1-p8-o1">

    … but not “why”. I think the answer would be how you copied the old form. If you did an old site backup and reload into the new site, who knows what might have been messed up.

    As far as I know, as long as you do a fresh install of Contact Form 7 on the new site, and then only copy the email fields from the old site into a new form, it should automatically pick up the new site’s server as your sending action.

    Good luck, D

    Thanks flamenco
    I actually did not copy anything from the other website, nothing at all, I’ve simply redid it manually, just replicated the form from the other site. That is the point as I reinstalled CF a couple of times thinking it might be the issue, I also thought it was because the form is exactly the same but even standard contact form is doing the same trick. Also blamed browser but apparently not that either ?? So what do I do?

    Thank you,

    Sharif

    I really couldn’t say from the outside. I have never seen anything like this (other than when material was copied).

    This is only a guess without good information and logins. It’s so odd that I’d say a server setting is at fault. I’m not a server guy, but it has that odor about it. Somebody somewhere may have set up some sort of domain forwarding from one domain to the other, or there’s a special bit of mod_rewrite changing things, or some screwy plugin that rewrites URL’s for SEO, or somebody’s accessing something through in Iframe… it could be loads of things.

    good luck.
